Wow this is a great card that my friend Carol showed me how to make. It looks difficult but it is really easy!
To make this card all you need is 12-1" squares of your favorite designer series paper. (Can you say - I have scraps and was going to throw them away and viola now they are a card.) The base of the quilt is a 3" high x 4" wide pieces of cardstock. I used Whisper White. If you use colored cardstock make sure it matches your card base or use ink to ink the edges of the cardstock when you are finished with your "quilt". Line up the 1 inch squares on your 3" x 4" card base (3 high and 4 across). Just use your snail adhesive to tape the squares "butted up" right next to each other. Then you will run that completed "quilt base" through your Big Shot using the Top Note Die.
I used Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper for my quilt paper. The card base is Rich Razzleberry cardstock layered on top of Melon Mambo cardstock. Rose Red Grosgrain ribbon is tied around the quilt. I stamped Oval All in Rich Razzleberry ink on Whisper White cardstock punched out with the large oval punch layered on top of Dusty Durango cardstock punched out with the Scallop Oval punch.
What a great way to use up all of your scraps!
The Oval All stamp set fits right inside the Large Oval and Scallop Oval Punches. And it has sentiments for many different occassions.
