I was so inspired by Shelli Gardner's (SU CEO) place settings that I decided to make some of my very own. (To see Shelli making her own set, check out yesterday's blog entry.) I have a black charger and glass plate. Under the plate I have cardstock and Hawaii Papaya designer series paper punched out with the trio and 5 petal flower punches. The top note die was used to make the base of the name holder and napkin ring. The pillow box die was also used on acetate sheets (report covers from Staples - 25 for $14.50). The Eastern Blooms stamp set was used to accent the pieces. Striped Tangerine Tango ribbon completes the project.
So here is my Christmas place setting using Mr Twigster - popped up with dimensionals. I used the snowflake punch with cardstock to make the decorations on the charger under the glass plate. Ski Slope designer series paper is also used on thie project.
This project is an easy way to dress up a set of chargers for all different holidays and occasions without having to buy a bunch of dishes.
